Tyler Bouilon Sweeps OMRS Features at Flamboro Speedway


MILLGROVE, Ontario --- Gaining speed throughout last season paid off, as Tyler Bouilon swept the Ontario Modified Racing Series (OMRS ) features on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway.


Ontario Modified Racing Series


Tyler Bouilon led flag-to-flag in the first feature ahead of John Baker Jr., Rick Warnes, Rob Warnes, Andrew Massey and Randy Hollingsworth.


The second event saw him run in the runner-up spot for the first half, taking the lead on Lap 12 to sweep teh night in front of Rob Warnes, John Baker Jr., Rick Warnes, Randy Hollingsworth, and Andrew Massey.


Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds


Ricky Willigar led flag-to-flag in the first Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modified feature ahead of Rodney Rutherford, TJ Marshall, Scott Tonelli, Jae Pepin. Maddux Pepin continued her string of consistency with another sixth in front of Mike Podd and Samantha Trewolla.


The second feature had a little more excitement, with Ricky Willigar taking the lead with three lasp to go to sweep the night ahead of TJ Marshall, Rodney Rutherford, Scott Tonelli, and Jae Pepin. Maddux Pepin was sixth once again in front of Mike Podd and Samantha Trewolla.


Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks


Starting at the back of the first feature, Mike Gilmour worked his way through the traffic to take the lead on the last lap to win ahead of Mike Thomson, Matt Young, Kaitlyn Wallace, and Bobby Mercer. Nikki King was sixth in front of Mark Grieve and Mason Anderson.


The second feature was a much smoother trip for Mike Gilmour, dominating as he paced 19 of the 20 laps en route to winning ahead of Matt Young, Kaitlyn Wallace, Bobby Mercer, Mark Grieve, Nikki King, and Mason Anderson. Mike Thomson failed to finish after contact with Wallace on Lap 6.


Hogan Law & McClurklin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks


Gary Slama parked the No. 90 in victory lane once again, taking the lead with seven laps to go in the pure stock feature. Spencer Riddell was second ahead of Wayde Thorne, Mark Allan, and Chance Rogers. Leo Labarbera ran just outside the top-five en route to sixth in front of Craig Cole, Rick Mitchell, Chase Mitchell, and Jordan Wilms.


Delaware Speedway regular Justin Collver was 11th, followed by Cam Thomson, Chris Burrows, Rachel Mitchell, Mac Ingram, Megan Mitchell, Mike Hall, and Hailey Hill. Courtney Scott failed to finish.


Cam Thomson led flag-to-flag en route to winning the second feature in front of Gary Slama, Chase Mitchell, Wayde Thorne, and Spencer Riddell. Leo Labarbera battled inside the top-five, falling out on the last lap to place sixth ahead of Chance Rogers, Rick Mitchell, Courtney Scott, and Mark Allan.


Justin Collver was 11th once again, followed by Rachel Mitchell, Mac Ingram, Chris Burrows, Jordan Wilms, Megan Mitchell, Mike Hall, Hailey Hill and Dylan Peckham. Craig Cole failed to finish.


The next stock car racing event at Flamboro Speedway is taking place on Saturday, July 6, with consist of a Pure Stock Dash for Cash for eligible drivers. The racing card includes the Late Models, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Pure Stocks.
